'I am a wandering eye poet, an eclectic color fanatic. I want my paintings to leap off the wall and overwhelm you with their tactile, chocolate thick, color and texture.'
Here My Hope Is FoundWhy do I paint these kind of scenes? Because there is too much art that is about me and mine. I want to make people see the beauty of nature and our Creator. We live in an instant society. The beauty of nature is something that lasts longer than just a '"selfie" . It is alive and changing moment by moment. growing into something deeper and better. Not caring about looking good, but just existing to please the eye for those that takes the time to look. I want to use my art to remind the observer that there is more than just me and my moment. To look at something beautiful and have a sense of peace. There is something more and bigger than me. Life is short, but beauty and art lasts forever.Oil on canvas, cold wax, encausticW: 1400mm x H: 1200mm x D: 44mm R27942.00
