You obviously turn to the internet because you do not have an agent, gallery, or name that is in demand from collectors. The art of the sale of art is a difficult one for most artists. Many fine pieces of art never make it past this stage. Of course selling your art online isn’t easy.

Sell yourself first. Before doing anything else, stop and sum up yourself as an artist. Now, think about how to translate that to an online profile.

When customers are looking for products and services, with rare exception, they head to Google to start their research, so it makes perfect sense to make sure that you have good and honest reviews on Google.
There are three main benefits of getting customer reviews; first, to acquire testimonials you can use in marketing your business; second, to better understand what you are doing right and/or wrong as a business; and third, to improve the visibility of your business on Google. In regards to the latter, the importance of accumulating genuine and honest reviews of your services online is ever increasing. Although you may have all the other elements of your local search strategy covered, the power of review data should not be underestimated.

The Winter Life group exhibition will run from 19 August until the 31 October. Artists from all over South Africa have been invited to submit their artworks for consideration. The selection committee will select all the artworks for the group exhibition, and also choose 3 new portfolio artists. The 4th portfolio artist will be voted for at the grand opening by visitors to the event. So bring all your fans to increase your chances! There will also be a ticket draw with loads of great giveaways.

On Monday the 21st August, the group exhibition will move to the Studio Art Gallery at Imhoff Farm and run until 31 October.
